I brought in a Seiko 6139 that had been sitting in a drawer for years. The rate was off by several minutes a day. After the service I received written timing results showing it was running within six seconds. That kind of transparency is not common here.

Had a NATO strap fitted for my partner's watch as a gift. The team measured the lug width and told me two of the three straps I had chosen would not fit properly before I bought the wrong one. That saved me some trouble. Quick, sensible service.

I collect fairly seriously and have four pieces I rotate. The annual plan suits me well — I do not have to remember when each one was last looked at. They keep the schedule and send me a note after each visit. Worth every baht for the peace of mind alone.

My grandfather's Longines had not been serviced in at least twenty years. The watchmaker called me before starting and explained what he had found during the inspection — a broken mainspring and worn keyless works. He quoted the additional cost and waited for my answer. That respect for the process matters to me.

The bracelet on my Tudor had two stretched links and the clasp was loose. I had been putting off dealing with it for months. Brought it in on a Tuesday and collected it the same afternoon fitted correctly. The difference in how it feels on the wrist is immediate.

First visit was for a movement service on my ETA 2824. The communication throughout was good — I knew where the watch was at each stage. The condition notes they sent with the watch were more detailed than I expected. I signed up for the care plan after collecting it.

A Closer Look
Case Study 01 — Movement Service
The Situation
A vintage Omega Constellation purchased in London in the 1970s had been worn daily until about 2015, then stored. The owner brought it in running approximately two minutes slow per day and noted occasional stopping.
What Was Done
Full movement service: disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection revealed a weakened mainspring and worn escape wheel pivots. Both were sourced and replaced. New lubricants throughout, reassembly and regulation.
The Outcome
Post-service timing bench readings showed the movement running at +4 seconds per day in the worn position. The owner collected it fourteen days after booking. The watch has been worn daily since without incident as of the last check-in.
"I did not expect the old girl to run that well again. The service record alone is worth keeping."
Case Study 02 — Collection Care Plan
The Situation
A Bangkok-based buyer with five watches — three mechanical, one automatic dress watch and one quartz — wanted a way to maintain them without tracking service history himself or responding to problems as they appeared.
What Was Done
An annual schedule was agreed at the start of the year. Each piece was brought in at its assigned interval. One movement required a partial service during the year — identified early rather than after the watch stopped running.
The Outcome
All five pieces are running within expected parameters at the end of the year. The partial service identified during a routine check cost less than a full overhaul would have after a breakdown. The client renewed the plan for a second year.
